I feel like I'm finally finding my rhythm again.
After losing Montgomery and my holiday illness,
it seems like forever since I've had any sort of nurturing routine.
Here are the canvases I showed you in my last post, a bit further along. As you can see above, I've added some green hills and my elephant. I also sanded back some of the blue, which gave the surface even more textural detail.
You might remember this line-up as well. The purple canvas is the same 12" x 16" titan buff canvas from my work table in the previous post. I've also added horizon lines to these three. (The canvas as the end of this row was painted using Open Acrylics and I'm waiting for the 30-day cure time frame before I can move forward on this one.)
And last but not least, these are the three small beige canvases that were on the window ledge in the last post. I got motivated to make valentine-inspired works. These are far from being finished, but I wanted to share my progress.
See? I've been working hard. I've also been working out regularly, trying to limit my intake of processed foods, writing in my journal, and giving myself time to play in my art journal. It's a nice balance right now that feels really, really good.
